Bags delves into the complications of situationships where each person walks this delicate line between not just friends but not quite lovers either, and how we end up sacrificing our happiness to fit their needs, leaving us with the idea of what could have been. I am currently working on the fine cut but wanted to showcase what I have cut together thus far as I am extremely proud of how this looks!!

Was bored last year and quickly thought up an idea for a one minute short that parodies common horror tropes seen in movies. I had a lot of fun editing and coloring this project and it is one of my favorites!
BINGO NIGHT SCENE RE-EDIT - 2024
Final cut for my editing class where I was asked to re-edit the climax of the short film, Bingo Night. I worked in Avid for this edit and learned a lot about rhythm and pacing, and cross-cutting!
LA LA VISION - 2024

My group was tasked with taking a scene from a movie and turning it into a noir. I pitched the dinner scene from La La Land and altered parts of the dialogue and premise to better fit into the world of noir films. I had a wonderful time collaborating with my group mates and had SUCH a blast editing this short! It pushed me into a territory I was very unfamiliar with and I am so grateful my group mates let me edit it.
ARCANE SOUND RE-DESIGN - 2024
Tasked by my professor to re-design the sound for a scene in any movie or tv show. I took a scene from Arcane (one of my favorite shows), and experimented with a bunch of different SFX and am very happy with the end result!
DANCE MONTAGE - 2024
Took a bunch of dance scenes from different movies and practiced match-cutting! Super fun to put together!
THE LOVERS - 2024

My first project ever! I learnt so much from creating this short film and it jumpstarted my love for editing! I would do so many things differently when looking back on it, nonetheless I am very happy I was given the opportunity to create my first short.
This short film follows two best friends who have feelings for each other but are too stubborn and nervous to admit it as they fear it will ruin their friendship.
